The Keeper of the "ARROW" joined the U.S. Wolf Refuge pack on July 11, 2010. He comes to us from a multiple pet family in Battle Mountain Nevada.

In keeping with our motto “New Life-New Name” ARROW received his name after volunteers noticed an arrow shape in the middle of his forehead. There was some deliberation on whether his name should be "Arrow" or "Keeper" since Athena took to him immediately (as well as all the volunteers) and they have been inseparable since their first meeting and we knew we’d be keeping him, thus "Keeper of the Arrow" he was dubbed!

This wonderful animal is perfect in every way. He is very friendly to man and beast! If he is indeed a wolf-dog as he was presented to us, he would be a “low content” wolf and Siberian Husky mix. Arrow shares his time now between staying with the “House Pack” with Athena and some of the others, and with Cheyanne in the main compound since he gets along well with everyone.
